Thottipalam, Tamilnadu.

Thottipalam is a very interesting place to visit,  which can be added with a Kanyakumari trip. It is around 30 KMs away  from Thiruvanathpuram - Nagarkovil highway. Thottipalam is a Canal cum bridge and was built in year 1969.  The canal is being shouldered by 28 huge pillars and was constructed for irrigation purpose. The bridge crosses the river Parazhiyar and carries water from one hill to another. The view from the middle of the bridge is very beautiful. Recently a stair case connecting the top of the bridge with the bottom also added to Thottipalam.
